The Environment Health & Safety Specialist provides technical environmental safety and health support to production and corporate personnel. Develops corporate environmental safety and health programs and objectives and coordinates training programs. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for the supervision, formulation, administration and coordination of industrial engineering policies designed to improve operating performance, reduce waste and delays and otherwise promote cost reductions on a company-wide basis. Activities involve using time study or standard data for a variety of machine, assembly and hand operations, production methods, equipment layout, material handling, and manpower, equipment and material utilization in order to improve operating performance.   Supports Engineering Cost Estimators by suppling data from existing projects or validating assumption for new projects to help generate cost assumptions for the assembly process, square footage requirements, material handling & facilities capital / tooling investments and direct / indirect labor.  Supports Purchasing in evaluation of new suppliers for material handling and facility products and technologies to help maintain a competitive edge in the industry.  Supports all engineering related communication internally and with the Customer; including technical presentation, design reviews, capacity analysis, and feasibility studies.  Responsible for initial (Pre-SOP) facility plan including Plant Floor Layout, Material Flow Analysis and Inventory Optimization.  Responsible for Broadcast Analysis, Throughput Analysis, and/or Simulation using software such as ProModel – Focus on dock to dock understanding of how facilities run and customer delivery requirements.  Responsible for Broadcast Analysis, Throughput Analysis, and/or Simulation using software such as ProModel – Focus on dock to dock understanding of how facilities run and customer delivery requirements.  Supports Packaging Engineer with input to the design process focused on optimization to support improved labor efficiencies, ergonomics, plant layout and freight optimization. Piston Automotive wasn’t just founded to make things. The Production Associate performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce automotive products. This role operates machines per work instructions, works at different work stations and/or departments as production needs require. Will works on the assembly line where tasks vary as different models of same article moves along line. Works with other Associates to set up machines, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished parts. Should be a team player that helps others in need and works proactively to minimize production downtime.

This position will provide a wide variety of general building and equipment maintenance repairs and services for Production. *Now Offering New Increased Wages* The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count stock. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform other duties such as pushing and pulling carts, breaking down boxes, as well as potential to fill in as a Production Associate on the assembly line. Offload inbound shipments safely and move to designated areas by use of forklift, pallet jack or other manual means. Efficiently stack and store the product as required by department. Stock and rotate materials as necessary. Maintain safe and clean work environment. Check materials received against bills of lading, purchase orders or other documents to verify correctness of incoming shipments. Identify objects, actions, and events that could be hazardous in the facility and report to your Manager.
